Sycamore Class
Welcome to Sycamore Class, we are Year 1 and Year 2!
Our learning this half term:
This half-term our topic focus is Wonderful World. This is a topic with a geography focus where we will be will exploring our world, human and physical features and coastal towns.
In Science this half-term, we are continuing to look at plants. We will be recapping what we have already learnt whilst building on the knowledge we have.

Our PSHE focus this half-term is citizenship. Children will be learning about our world, ourselves and the people around us.
In RE this half-term we are learning about Sikhism.
Useful information:
Our PE days this half-term are Wednesday and Thursday. Please ensure you come to school in PE kit on these days.
PE uniform includes the following:
- Black/ dark grey/navy shorts, leggings or joggers
- White or team coloured t-shirt
- Plain black/dark grey/navy sweatshirt or hoodie
- Sports trainers/plimsolls
On a Thursday Year 2 will be taking part in Forest School. Please can the children wear old, long sleeved clothing appropriate for activities and the weather with some old footwear.
