Hazel Class
Welcome to Hazel Class - we are the Year 5's and Year 6's at Morton Primary!
Miss Allen is the teacher in this class. Mrs Brown and Miss Kershaw are the teaching assistants that support us.
Our learning this half term:
In History, we are learning about who the Vikings were, features of Viking longboats, where Vikings settled and what impact they had in Britain.
In Science, we are learning about Forces. We are learning about what gravity is, how forces act on objects and how levers, gears and pulleys work.
In RSHE, we are focusing on the topic 'My Healthy Self'. We will be looking at how we can support our minds and bodies as we grow.
In Art, we are focusing on the artist Judith Scott. We will be focusing on 3D art and sculptures.
In Spanish, we will be focusing on the date.
In Computing, we will be focusing on networks. We will be able to explain what a computer network is and know examples of these.
In RE, our focus question is 'If God is everywhere, why go to a place of worship?'
We are focusing on invasion games and health related exercise in PE this term.

Useful information:
PE days - Wednesday & Friday
Children should come to school in their school PE kits on PE days. PE uniform includes the following:
- Black/grey shorts, leggings or joggers
- White or team coloured t-shirt
- Plain black/grey/navy sweatshirt or hoodie
- Trainers/plimsolls
